Dead for 100 years and close to dry. As with all woods you should let it sit for a couple month to acclimate to your area.

Shipping out of the lower 48 states will be extra.

I have been cutting and selling the woods in northern Calif. around Eureka for over 53 years now and still love it.

I have about 50 mantels in stock at most times.
