mrt465 Myrtle burl slab.. Cut 42xx40x2.5'' in Eureka, Calif. Dead for 3 years. Myrtle is found in Oregon and Isreal and is the tree that the crusifex was nade from.  Let this slab acclimate to your area for about 3 to 4 months. Work it, use it but no finish untill dry.
